I think on a review site like mine scoring is the right thing to do. It gives readers & followers a quick idea of my reaction, if that's what they're looking for. It's obviously not the full story, though. 

I implemented the 1-10 scale, because it's simple and easily understandable for non-whiskybase readers too. 5 is average. However there's nothing wrong with an average, well-priced whisky.

On this page you can find all the whiskies I have rated so far on my site according to my rating system. From highest to lowest. Nothing is in alphabetical order. If two whiskies has the same points let's say 7, I put first the one I liked a bit more and second the one I liked a little less. Keep in mind, only those whiskies will be here that I have already reviewed here on the site! Everyones taste and what they like can differ, keep in mind that these points and ratings are ONLY MY OPINION, and I only rate them to give you a general idea if they might be worth to pick up in my point of view. ⏺10: Dram of a lifetime. Outstanding.

This is the pinnacle, this is what we are looking for during our whisky journey, this is the perfect dram.

Started out good, but sadly could not keep it together. Falls apart. However with some tweaking they can be better.
